After showing a house late this afternoon, I was loving the drive home, savoring the sunset. Driving past this gorgeous view south from McCormick Parkway, just west of Hayden Road, I realized that I just had to go back and snap a shot. With Camelback Mountain in the background, this was definitely a sunset I wanted to remember!

Spectacular Scottsdale. We are pretty lucky, aren’t we?

Summer’s Over!

Well, summer in Scottsdale is FINALLY over! One hundred degree highs are behind us for at least six months, we hope. And the glorious time of year that makes us all very grateful to live here is here!

Seriously, who can complain about this forecast of sunny days, with high’s in the 85-90 degree range. While it still may be a bit warm for some, it feels like heaven after a long, hot summer. Right?

Monsoon season is almost over. By the new weather service guidelines, September 30th is the last day. Until then, we get to see some amazing clouds, and incredible sunsets…. like this:

A Simple Saturday Sunrise

We had huge rain in the middle of the night last night. This morning’s sunrise was hidden by a lot of cloud cover. Still extremely gorgeous!

Coffee or Camera?

I was up pretty early this morning. Getting ready to make that first cup of coffee in a perfectly quiet home. Absolutely one of my favorite parts of the day.

Looked out the window and had to make a decision. Coffee or camera?

Needless to say, coffee had to wait today.
