I was at the Home Depot at Pavilions, on the eastern border of Scottsdale, early this morning. And, as I was walking across the parking lot, I noticed the  this trio of U.S. flags with a nice breeze bringing them to life. Definitely, a beautiful tribute on a national holiday, Memorial Day 2012.

Caught this beautiful  sunset a couple nights ago down off the boat ramp Camelback Lake on the southeast corner of Scottsdale Road and McCormick Parkway.  As a friend reminded me last night, we live in the land of beautiful sunsets.  I agree!

The sun was almost setting this afternoon and I slipped out to catch a few photos in that lovely golden light. My favorite is a this peaceful view of the McDowell Mountains, taken from the McCormick Ranch Golf Course. Feels like spring, even though it still looks a bit like fall.
