Since I’ve started taking a intermediate photography class from the City of Scottsdale Park & Recreation, my life seems to revolve more around my camera than ever before. As a Realtor, photos are a big part of my job. In fact, with most initial home shopping being done on-line, I decided that improving my photography skill was a must.
One of our assignments this semester is to complete a photo log, taking a photo a day and creating a presentation at the end of class. Today, I was thinking about that project and thought it might be interesting to see what photos I could put together for you that would document and describe what this past week looked like for me.
Take a look what this past week included for me, living and selling real estate in Scottsdale.
While 2009 was a fabulous year in so many ways, I always welcome fresh new beginnings.
This morning, I grabbed my camera and ran outside thinking I’d just seen the McCormick Ranch bald eagle land in a tree on the golf course. Rather than an eagle, I found two herons and this beautiful view.
Wishing you all a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2010!
I’m naturally an early riser, and many of my mornings start with email, Twitter, music, and photos.
One of my Twitter buddies was having a rough start to the day last week, so I put this little slide show together for her. It was an exceptionally beutiful sunrise. So much so, I jumped on my bike to get a better view. Monsoon season provides for some amazing sunrises.
Some people chase rainbows, others chase tornadoes. Me, I go for sunrises.
Today, I grabbed my camera and jumped on my bike, to snap a few. This is from the east bank of Sandpiper in McCormick Ranch.
Reflection of the morning in McCormick Ranch – looking east from Sandpiper to through the golf course to Camello Vista.
From the McCormick Ranch golf course (north of the McCormick Parkway) looking northeast. McDowell Mountains are in the distance to the left. Community of Santa Fe is across the water.
Heading back home on McCormick Ranch golf path (Pine course) looking back over my shoulder for one more glimpse of the Sunday sunrise. Community of Camello Vista is to the right.
Crossing the golf cart bridge heading back into Sandpiper. The water in the golf course lakes is so calm in the morning.
