When some people think of Scottsdale, they have the impression that it consists of luxury homes and vacation rentals. However, this vibrant city has a wide range of property types that sell in all price ranges.
In 2010, the vast majority of all homes (all types) sold for $400K and under. Most single family home sales ranged from $100,000 to $500,000, and most condos and townhomes sold for less that $200,000.
In the higher price ranges, $500,000K and higher, most Scottsdale homes sales were for single family homes, with just a sprinkling of other home types.
So while Scottsdale has many luxury communities and more seasonal fully-furnished rentals than most other communities in the Phoenix area, it has a wide-ranging diversity of housing. A little something for everyone.
