This is one real estate statistic that we’d all like to see improve.  Pending foreclosures in Maricopa County (for all real estate property types) continues to increase, approaching 50% since the beginning of the year, January 2009.

You can see that the number of foreclosures remained relatively constant from 2002 through 2006, and then the steady increase started.  Momentum pick up between February and April of this year, and has slowed since then.  However, the total number of pending foreclosures continues to increase.

thought many were “rich” in scottsdale/maricopa?? why all the massive foreclosures–was it all for show, a scam, a sham, pick a payment joke loans, ARM jokes, funny money–guess those scottsdale people are not that “rich” after all. it was based on lies, propagangda, and artificial numbers to fraudulently induce sales. with a gigantic 50% foreclosure rate, half of maricopa are immoral–they bought homes they could NOT afford. hence, an inherent flaw in the USA. no accountability, no ethics, no integrity. All for show.

I have noticed an increase in notices BUT more properties selling on the courthouse steps.

REO’s in the MLS have decreased due to this fact.
