Scottsdale Pending Sales Increase But Lag Behind Others

by Dru Bloomfield on February 16, 2009

Over at Click2AZ, I posted a chart showing the significant increase in pending home sales for the Phoenix Metropolitan area.

As Michael Orr from the Cromford Report shared a couple weeks ago:

The more expensive areas have generally been left out of the surge in pending sales, probably due to the greater difficulty in securing jumbo loans at affordable rates. However, even Scottsdale is showing an increase of 13% in the month between January 3 and February 3 and a more modest increase of 3% over February 3, 2008.

While we as a city are seeing some increase, Scottsdale is still lagging behind on pending sales, and does really have some significant opportunity to improve.
