I created this map a couple weeks ago, because I was curious about how many foreclosures were underway in the McCormick, Gainey, and Scottsdale Ranch areas (Arizona zip code 85258). I found it curious that there were neighborhoods in all three communities that had no foreclosures pending. The other important idea to know is that Scottsdale as a whole has a much lower percentage of foreclosures than other cities in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Interest data you show in the post.
I really think pressure will build with the decrease in prices outside of Scottsdale will pressure residents to sell and move to cheaper housing areas.
Or I could see people moving into “stable house price” neighborhoods and then suffer price drops when market prices catch up to that area…
I know of at least one person buying a foreclosure and then having to sell that same house in short sale.
