Need to get rid of a broken camera, dead batteries, or an obsolete computer? Here’s your opportunity to clean out your house or office responsibly and benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
MacMedia is hosting the first ever E-waste recycling event in downtown Scottsdale TODAY from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the northwest corner of Goldwater Blvd. and Fifth Avenue.

Participants will receive a tax voucher for their donation, and Macmedia is partnering with Scrapcomputer.com to donate 10 cents per pound to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital of Arizona.
The event will also include refreshments, door prizes, and computer discounts. For more information contact MacMedia at (602) 635-4562 or e-mail lgeorges@macmediainc.com

The next Scottsdale electronics recycling event will be on Saturday, October 11th, when you can drop of your tired and broken electronics at the Corporation Yard at 9191 E. San Salvadore between 7:30 and 2:00 pm. Lots of signs and the city is super efficient in their set up. Last time, we dropped our old electronics off, we were in and out in less than 5 minutes, without ever getting out of our car.
