Over the past year, median home listing prices in Scottsdale have been up and down repeatedly. Prices have fluctuated throughout the city, but are very different when the northernmost end of Scottsdale is compared to some of the central and southern parts of the city. However, even in zip codes that are on the increase, prices are increasing more in some pricing spectrums than others.
Not all Scottsdale zip codes are following the same pattern, most are. home-prices trends for each zip code, starting from the south and moving north:

85250 - Downtown and Central Scottsdale between Chaparral and Indian Bend. |

85258 - Primarily consists of homes in the McCormick and Gainey Ranch communities. |
 |
85254 - Most of this zip code is in the City of Phoenix with a Scottsdale zip code. North of Cactus and West of Scottsdale Road. |
 |
85260 - Homes listed north of Shea, south of Bell, east of Scottsdale Road to about 104th Street. |
 |
85259 - Homes for sale north of Shea and East of 104th Street. |
 |
85255 - Primarily McDowell Mountain / Wingate / DC Ranches |
 |
85266 - North Scottsdale has a new zip code as of July 2007 |
 |
85262 - North Scottsdale - Desert Mountain and large surrounding area |
