The Phoenix METRO Light Rail project is rapidly becoming a reality, and we are all waiting to see just how successful it will be. I have a client working on the project who shared this photo of the special lighting installed on the Tempe Town Lake bridge that will only light up as the train passes over the bridge.

Pretty cool!

I agree…that is a very cool look. I’m going to need to get over there and take a couple photos myself soon.

Hi Drew,
Great pic..
The lights will be a nice addition to the lake at night.

Nick, Have you seen the night lights first hand yet?
Steve, Maybe we can link up with Nick and get some live shots.

The lights are not on yet.. They will begin once the system is operational. They have only had them on for “testing.” It is my understanding that they can do some really cool things with the system. Don’t want to link here but you can search our blog for “bridge” to see some info. Would love to meet you guys down there once it opens!
