Scottsdale – Saturday is Electronics Recycling Day

If you’ve never contributed to one of Scottsdale’s Electronics (or Hazardous Waste) Recycling Days, you are in for a surprise.  We have dropped off old stereo equipment, broken cameras, outdated computer equipment, and more.  And the best part, it that the drop-off’s are amazingly organized event.  You are in and out in 5-10 minutes, without ever getting out of your car. 

The details:

ELECTRONICS RECYCLING DAY

May 3, 2008
7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

City of Scottsdale Corporation Yard, 9191 E. San Salvador 
Look for the signs.

Items accepted include:

  • Computers/Peripherals: PC’s, Printers, Keyboards, Scanners, Mice, Monitors, Circuit Boards and Hard Drives.
  • Office Equipment/Products: Telephones, Cell Phones, Answering Machines, Pagers, Typewriters and Calculators.
  • Entertainment Equipment: Cameras, Televisions, Recorders (VHS and DVR) DVD Players and Stereo Equipment.

Collection events are for Scottsdale residents only, so be prepared to show proof of residency.  A photo ID, Scottsdale utility bill, or a rent receipt will work.
