Last Sunday, I ran a 5K race in the very beautiful DC Ranch, with its incredible views of the McDowell Mountains. The race is an annual event, benefiting the Ryan House, and it had been five years since I’d run this race, so it felt a little bit like coming home.
You see, up until that time,
I lived in Pima Acres, a small enclave of homes just south of DC Ranch and watched this DMB community being built. As a master planned community, DC Ranch is one of the best, especially if you love living in a area that has an open desert feel, with all the conveniences of refined living.
DC Ranch homes range from condos, to single family homes situated in intimate neighborhood settings, to the custom estates of the private Silverleaf community. Listing prices for condos are starting starting around $300K, while single family homes range from $550,000 to $11M.
The residents of DC Ranch love where they live, and most wouldn’t live anywhere else. Close to the 101, with unique feel that’s found only in DC Ranch. The mountains are close by and crystal clear. The wild feel of the desert has been preserved.
Plus, it’s a great place for a run.
