Here’s one of those updates from Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) to keep in mind this weekend if you are going to be traveling on the 101 in or through North Scottsdale

CLOSED ALL WEEKEND - Eastbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) closed between 56th Street and Scottsdale Road from 10:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Feb. 25) for bridge work on the new 64th Street interchange.

CLOSED SATURDAY - Eastbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Tatum Boulevard and 64th Street closed. Westbound Loop 101 closed between Scottsdale Road and 56th Street from 5 a.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 24) for bridge work. Westbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Hayden Road and Scottsdale Road closed.

Freeway traffic affected in both directions will use local streets, including 56th Street and Scottsdale Road, to Bell Road as detour routes. ADOT also recommends drivers exit ahead of the closure points to avoid traffic backups.
