I may seem a little hung up on traffic this weekend, but I’ve been told more than once that over a million extra bodies are expected in downtown Scottsdale this weekend. Sounds like a huge party to me!
The City of Scottsdale does a great job keeping residents updated. I got an email at 10 p.m. last night, updating me on where to park if I was headed downtown for one of the many parties. Here’s yet another email update on how to avoid the bottlenecks.

Information will be available on the city’s Web site at:
http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/events/specialevents.aspScottsdale also will list special event traffic and parking information on the 312-CITY phone, as well as the Arizona Department of Transportation’s “511″ phone system.

You can also have traffic updates sent to your phone this weekend.

I cannot believe that a any good realtor would not volunteer, what an opportunity to hook up with the people with the money to buy the homes in Scottsdale. Every good Realtor must support the values and say everything is okay–maybe if they would have been more honest during the debaucle so many would not have lost so much. Frankly, how does a profession with such low standards of entry, hold itself out as the predictor of value – when basically- they just do not know….buyers will come back when they ready and there is still a lot of time for them to pick up deals on the market. The only market that is doing very well is the ultimate luxury market over 3,000,000.
