Affordable Housing in Scottsdale

From the Scottsdale Tribune today, “Lack of affordable housing studied by Scottsdale“.  Val Iverson, former President of the Scottsdale Parent Council and key organizer of the successful “Yes to Children” initiative, was commissioned to study Scottsdale housing issues.   Her report, “The Scottsdale Housing Ladder: A Reality Check on the State of Workforce Options” gives insight into the tough issues facing Scottsdale, where housing prices have far outpaced the average worker’s wage.  The paper has also created a nice graphic, which is much easier to read when you click on the link near the beginning of the article.
