Come on out and enjoy fishing, games, crafts and the great outdoors at the City of Scottsdale Parks & Recreation Fishing and Outdoor Expo. The event will be on Saturday, January 12th from 7:30 to 9:30am, at Chaparral Park, 5401 N. Hayden Rd. in Scottsdale. This is a great opportunity for families and friends to enjoy the time honored pastime of fishing, and also to participate in fun games and arts and crafts. There will also be raffle prizes awarded throughout the event. Participants can also obtain information from several groups that specialize in fishing and outdoor activities. Urban fishing licenses will be required for anyone over the age of 14, and participants need to bring their own bait and tackle, as well as poles.
