Marketing Your Home on the Internet is a MUST!

by Dru Bloomfield on November 1, 2007

Home buyers are looking for homes on the Internet, so home sellers MUST make sure that their home are getting marketed effectively on-line.  When I list a home, I have a page long check list of home marketing “to-do’s” that mostly focus on marketing my client’s homes on the Internet.  While I still incorporate traditional methods of advertising, my main focus is definitely on the web.  Experience has shown me that people do find and buy homes this way.

And based on my recent experiences being discovered by the media, you will see that there are a variety of ways to get the word out to home buyers.

Last week, one of my clients and I were interviewed on the local CBS TV station, who discovered me by way of YouTube.  Posting on YouTube lets me showcase a home by highlighting the great features of the home, with music in the background, and a narrated home description as the camera moves through the home.

This past week, I was interviewed by the local NBC station who found me on the Internet.  The reporter, Hannah Mullins, met me at one of my listings.  Her video report focuses on how today’s technology-savvy real estate agents are marketing homes on-line, giving potential buyers, the opportunity to preview homes they are interested in, anytime and anywhere.

This morning, the Arizona Republic published this associated article “Valley Realtor says Internet is key to home sales“.

The Internet is a great media to market and sell homes, because buyers are starting their home search there.  If you are interested in knowing more about how I sell homes by using the Internet and getting the word out to as many potential buyers as possible, please contact me.
