It seems that every other day, there’s a story about green building in the paper or on the news. And in doing a little research, you will see how dedicated the City of Scottsdale is to green building and energy efficiency. To learn more about what green building is and how you can make your home or business more energy efficient, stop by the 10th annual Green Building Expo in Scottsdale this Friday (October 5th, 11 a.m.-6p.m.) or Saturday (October 6th, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.). The event is hosted by the Scottsdale Green Building Program along with the cities of Scottsdale, Phoenix and Tempe and will be held at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, located at 7380 E. Second Street.
The event has been created with for both the green builder/remodeler and for consumers interested in the latest information on energy and resource efficiency.
